Terms of use

The rules of the game, written as simply as possible: what Selamia commits to, and what we expect from you.

1.Purpose

These terms (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Selamia service, published by [To be completed: company name] (“Selamia”, “we”). Selamia lets you create visuals, write posts with the help of artificial intelligence, schedule them and publish them to social networks.

The service is intended for businesses, independents and associations. By creating an account, you accept these Terms in full. The French version of these Terms is the legally binding version; this English version is provided for convenience.

2.Creating an account

  • You must be an adult and have the authority to act on behalf of the business you represent.
  • The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for any action taken from your account.
  • You can invite members to your workspace within the limits of your plan; you remain responsible for how they use it.

3.Free trial

Every new business gets a 14-day free trial of the Autopilot plan, with no credit card and no commitment. When the trial ends, you can keep using Selamia on the Free plan or subscribe to a paid plan to unlock more features. Your content is kept for at least 30 days to give you time to decide.

4.Plans, prices and payment

Plans and their limits are described on the Pricing page. Prices are in euros, excluding taxes; the applicable VAT is added at billing.

  • Subscriptions are monthly or yearly, paid in advance, and renew automatically.
  • Yearly subscriptions get a 20% discount compared with the monthly price.
  • Payments are processed by our provider Stripe. An invoice is available for each billing period.
  • If a payment fails, we let you know; if it isn't resolved, access may be suspended.
  • We may change our prices; any change will be notified at least 30 days before your next renewal.

5.Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; any period that has started remains due and is not refunded, unless the law provides otherwise.

We may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious breach of these Terms (illegal content, fraud, threats to the security of the service), after notice except in urgent cases.

6.Your content and your use of the service

You remain the owner of the content you upload or create with Selamia (texts, photos, logos, visuals). You only grant us the right to host, process and publish it according to your instructions, for the purposes of the service.

You agree to:

  • hold the necessary rights to the content you use (photos, music, brands…);
  • not publish content that is illegal, misleading, hateful, defamatory or that infringes the rights of others;
  • follow the rules of each social network you publish to;
  • get the consent of anyone recognisable in your visuals (customers, students, patients…).

7.Connecting your social networks

Selamia connects to your accounts through each social network's official interfaces, with the permissions you approve. Networks may change their rules or interfaces, or experience outages: Selamia cannot be held responsible for a post that is delayed or rejected because of them. We let you know as soon as a post fails so you can act.

8.Artificial intelligence

The texts, ideas and images suggested by the AI are suggestions. They may contain errors or inaccuracies: it is up to you to review them before publishing. You alone are responsible for the content you choose to publish. AI usage is counted in credits, within the limits of your plan.

9.Selamia's intellectual property

The software, brand, templates and all elements of Selamia remain our property. Templates are licensed to you to create your own posts for the duration of your subscription; visuals you have published may stay online after your subscription ends. Reselling or extracting the templates as such is prohibited.

10.Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service available and secure, but cannot guarantee it will never be interrupted (maintenance, technical incidents, dependence on social networks).

Our liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damage, up to the amounts paid in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect losses (loss of revenue, audience or reputation).

11.Personal data

We process your data in accordance with our privacy policy. When you process your own customers' data through Selamia, we act as a processor; a data processing agreement is available on request.

12.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. You'll be informed at least 30 days before any significant change takes effect; if you don't accept it, you can cancel your subscription before that date.

13.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we always prefer an amicable solution: email us at bonjour@selamia.com. Failing agreement, the courts of [To be completed: city of the registered office] shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
